Award-winning publication: The governance of major public infrastructure projects: the process of translation
Published in: International Journal of Managing Projects in Business
Maude Brunet's paper looks into governance frameworks for major public infrastructure projects and the ways in which stakeholders translate and implement them. The qualitative study of a public infrastructure project undertaken in Québec is based on non-participatory observation and interviews. The research broadens the understanding of governance through practice and theoretical procedural perspectives and leads to better insight into public project governance and avenues to maximize benefits in terms of public finance optimization, transparency and ethics.
