Abstract

"In the article, I explored a management strategy that highlights the ways in which competitive edges are created through international subcontracting (ISC) to small and medium-sized manufacturers. The results show that ISC generates tremendous benefits and enables small and medium organizations to become more competitive. The strategy is driven by the prospect of cutting operating costs by accessing vast pools of qualified workers and low-cost-high-value innovations focused on more stimulating and more strategic activities. The development of key skills leading to long-term growth is also supported. ISC enables small and medium businesses to optimize their limited internal resources and capitalize on external ones."

The research carried out by Muhammad Mohiuddin meets the needs of small and medium business executives, inciting them to develop a win-win subcontracting strategy that can be used as a successful means of competition. Given that Canadian businesses are facing increased competition on the American and international markets, the strategy is essential to ensure that organizations remain competitive, clearly demonstrating the significant relevance of this innovative research.
