Abstract
Every year in Québec, over 88 000 workers are injured, generating costs that total over $410M annually and mobilizing efforts by government, academic and union organizations, industries and rehabilitation professionals. The research conducted by Alexandra Lecours identifies preventive behaviours and concrete actions to promote among workers. The results presented in her article may be used in prevention training in schools. When applied at different levels, her findings will help optimize the occupational health and safety of all Québecers.
